Medical Graphics were looking to enhance the marketing literature produced by their US counterpart and make it more appealing to the UK market.
They wanted to refresh their brand image with a modern twist, while maintaining the identifiable design elements that are recognised by clients in the medical and sports science sectors.
The client was looking for a cost effective solution that would enable both printed literature and the website to be easily updated in the future as product ranges change. We were asked to enhance existing imagery to demonstrate the premium nature of the products and support available to Medical Graphics customers.
Following in-depth discussions with the client, we suggested the segmentation of the target markets into two groups for the website and a further split of the product ranges into intuitive groups for easy navigation for both print and web.
The branding included creating a 3D ribbon/E.C.G. effect (using Cinema 3D Max), based loosely on the existing logo, to enhance the brand and create a distinctive graphical device that would run through the product literature.
Design Pro liaised directly with the clients US counterpart to handle the sourcing of imagery and then produced complete high resolution artwork for a folder, five piece brochure set and associated stationery. We also managed a challenging print specification through our trusted local supplier to ensure colour accuracy and meet a tight deadline for an upcoming trade show.
The rebrand, website and literature has now enabled Medical Graphics to send high quality literature to qualified leads obtained at trade shows and via the website.
The literature is now equal to the premium quality of the products and their price tag and fully justifies and articulates why Medical Graphics is the best choice in terms of quality, levels of service and technical support.
