The kitchen refurbish market is still relatively new, so a certain amount of consumer education was required to convince and reassure customers that overlay worktops are every bit as aspirational and delightful as the beauty of solid stone. We needed to articulate that with miniQ's innovative overlay quartz, the product offered versatility and speed of installation that was simply not possible before.
The branding, supporting literature, point-of-sale, advertising and website needed to convey just how quickly and easily, with little to no mess and disruption consumers could now update their existing kitchen using these innovative miniQ overlay worktops.
With a photo-shoot not a realistic option, we created bespoke illustrations and heavily photo manipulated available imagery to demonstrate the product benefits for both the website and literature.
An interactive virtual kitchen was also created so consumers could try out different workshop styles with different cupboard combinations to get a visual image of how their transformed kitchen could look with a make-over.
We also had to create a clear call to action and contact form for the website, as miniQ uses 'recommended installers', but does not actually carry out the install directly, they are simply the manufacturer and distributor, so we had to make that very clear to potential customers.
The first phase campaign proved very successful and brought about the recruitment of installers across the UK. At the time of writing we have just launched the phase two campaign, which included the creation of a revised website that is now solely consumer focused and includes more information, case studies and an improved virtual showroom that now works on mobile and tables devises.
The second phase campaign which just launched, is now optimised to deliver more enquiries to installers and improve brand awareness. The website is Search Engined Optimised and with the help of supporting advertising campaigns promises to position the brand as an independent market leader, whilst also educating consumers about this alternative way of renovating kitchens.
